Support an Equitable Recovery in Marin

The report, titled Equitable Recovery Report and Policy Recs - 1.25.22” calls on officials, nonprofits and others to unite in supporting a framework that puts Marin’s very low-income residents, immigrants and communities of color first. Housing insecurity and economic instability, which were exacerbated during the COVID-19 pandemic, have put a high percentage of Marin County’s low-income and historically marginalized residents at risk. This report, the result of a collaboration between four front-line community-based organizations — Canal Alliance, Community Action Marin, Legal Aid of Marin, and North Marin Community Services — describes how partners worked together to address inequities with service delivery in Marin, and how they mobilized for effective short and long-term solutions. We as a community have an opportunity to prepare for the future and invite you to read the report, share it with others, and get involved.
